Dr. Chaffee has practiced in Coeur d'Alene since 1993, and in 2003, he became the area's first board-certified orthodontist.

Orthodontic Care for Children, Teens, and Adults

Dr. Taylor Glovsky
Dr. Glovsky earned her dental degree with honors from Oregon Health & Science University and completed her orthodontic residency and master’s degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
She has contributed to publications and textbook chapters on jaw surgery and the biology of tooth movement. When she’s not seeing patients, she’s usually backpacking, fishing, or exploring the outdoors.
Dr. Michael Chaffee
Dr. Chaffee has practiced in Coeur d’Alene since 1993 and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Orthodontics. He has published research and a textbook chapter on skeletal anchorage, the use of small temporary anchors to move teeth more precisely, and lectures to orthodontists nationally and internationally.
Away from the office, he enjoys gardening, photography, and fishing.

We’ll welcome you, introduce you to your orthodontist, and show you around the office.
2. Exam and Records
If treatment makes sense now, we may take records that same day: photos, X-rays, models of your teeth, and a clinical exam.
3. Your Treatment Plan
Your orthodontist walks you through the findings, your options, the expected timeline, and insurance and payment options.
